Cranberry Creole Pudding!


Hi Friends!

My grandmother used to make this favorite pudding recipe for Christmas years ago. We just love it and so I decided now would be a great time to share her secret recipe! It’s an old fashioned type recipe but if you try it we know you will agree that it is delicious! It is easy to make and would be a great addition to your Christmas family dinners!

Cranberry Creole Pudding


2 cups fresh cranberries
2 cups of sugar
2 cups of water
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/3 cup melted butter
1/4 teaspoon of allspice
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk


Mix cranberries, sugar and water, place in a two quart pan. Bring to boiling point on “High”. Meantime mix ingredients of remaining ingredients and pour into syrup. Cover, continue to cook on “High” until steam escapes freely. Turn switch to “Off” and finish on “Free Heat.”
